Refund policy

Return, Refund, Cancellation & Exchange Policy

Last Updated: 27 August 2026

This Return, Refund, Cancellation & Exchange Policy (“Policy”) governs purchases made through GR Traditionals, a proprietorship business operating from Shop No. 1, S-11, A-Block, Shalimar Garden Ext-2, Sahibabad, Lakshay Home, 201005, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India (“GR Traditionals”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that you have carefully read, understood and agreed to this Policy, subject always to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.

1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL

GR Traditionals follows a strict no-return, no-exchange and no-refund policy as a general commercial policy.

We do not ordinarily accept returns, exchanges, replacements, refunds or cancellations merely because a customer:

  • changes their mind;

  • no longer wants the product;

  • ordered the wrong product;

  • ordered the wrong size;

  • ordered the wrong colour;

  • selected the wrong variant;

  • does not like the product after receiving it;

  • considers the product different from what they expected based on personal preference;

  • finds the product unsuitable for an intended occasion;

  • finds the colour, appearance, texture or finish different from what they perceived on their device;

  • purchased the product as a gift and the recipient does not like it;

  • has otherwise changed their personal preference after placing the order.

Orders are therefore intended to be final and non-returnable/non-refundable, except where a return, replacement or refund is required under applicable law or where GR Traditionals expressly approves a claim under this Policy.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or waived.

2. PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS POLICY

GR Traditionals offers traditional Indian products including, without limitation:

  • clothing and apparel;

  • sarees;

  • kurtis;

  • dupattas;

  • bags;

  • jewellery;

  • accessories;

  • handicrafts;

  • Gujarati traditional products;

  • Rajasthani traditional products; and

  • other traditional or fashion merchandise displayed on the Website.

Certain products may have characteristics inherent to their material, manufacturing method, craftsmanship, traditional construction or decorative process.

Such characteristics may include reasonable variations in:

  • colour;

  • texture;

  • weave;

  • pattern;

  • embroidery;

  • printing;

  • stitching;

  • embellishment;

  • finish;

  • dimensions;

  • placement of decorative elements; and

  • other visual or physical characteristics.

Such reasonable variations, where consistent with the product description and nature of the product, shall not automatically constitute a defect or a basis for return or refund.

3. COLOUR AND DISPLAY VARIATIONS

Product images displayed on the Website are intended to provide a visual representation of the products.

Actual colours may appear different depending on:

  • the customer's mobile phone;

  • computer or tablet;

  • screen calibration;

  • display settings;

  • brightness;

  • contrast;

  • ambient lighting;

  • photography conditions;

  • camera processing; and

  • other technical factors.

A reasonable difference between the colour displayed on a customer's device and the actual colour of a product shall not, by itself, constitute a defect or entitle the customer to a return, exchange or refund.

4. HANDCRAFTED AND TRADITIONAL PRODUCTS

Certain GR Traditionals products may incorporate traditional, handmade or artisan-oriented processes.

Where applicable, minor variations resulting from such processes may be inherent characteristics of the product rather than manufacturing defects.

Accordingly, minor and reasonable variations in:

  • pattern placement;

  • embroidery;

  • thread;

  • weave;

  • texture;

  • print;

  • finishing;

  • decorative placement;

  • dimensions; or

  • other handcrafted characteristics

shall not automatically qualify as defects.

This provision does not exclude a claim concerning a genuine material defect or a product that is materially different from what was represented or ordered.

5. NO RETURNS FOR CHANGE OF MIND

GR Traditionals does not accept returns merely because the customer has changed their mind.

The following are generally not grounds for return or refund:

  • “I don't like it.”

  • “I changed my mind.”

  • “I found another product.”

  • “I don't need it anymore.”

  • “It does not suit me.”

  • “It looks different on me.”

  • “It is not suitable for the occasion.”

  • “The recipient does not like it.”

  • “I ordered it by mistake.”

  • “I selected the wrong size.”

  • “I selected the wrong colour.”

  • “I selected the wrong design.”

6. SIZE-RELATED ISSUES

Customers are responsible for reviewing available product information, size charts, measurements and product descriptions before placing an order.

GR Traditionals does not ordinarily accept returns or exchanges due to:

  • incorrect size selection by the customer;

  • incorrect measurement selection;

  • personal fit preference;

  • preference for a looser or tighter fit;

  • change in body measurements after purchase; or

  • the customer's subjective assessment of fit.

Where a product is expressly described as having particular measurements, the customer should carefully review those measurements before ordering.

7. WRONG PRODUCT, MISSING PRODUCT OR MATERIAL DIFFERENCE

If a customer receives a product that appears to be materially different from the product ordered, the customer must notify GR Traditionals promptly.

Examples may include:

  • a materially different product;

  • a materially different SKU/variant;

  • a product materially different from the description;

  • a missing item from a multi-item order; or

  • another material fulfilment discrepancy.

Any such claim is subject to verification against:

  • the customer's order;

  • order records;

  • product information;

  • warehouse records;

  • dispatch records;

  • shipping records;

  • photographs/videos;

  • inventory records; and

  • any other information reasonably required for investigation.

If GR Traditionals determines after investigation that a genuine fulfilment error occurred, an appropriate remedy may be provided in accordance with applicable law.

8. DAMAGED PRODUCTS

Customers should inspect the external package and product promptly after delivery.

Where a package appears visibly damaged at the time of delivery, customers are encouraged to:

  1. photograph the package before opening it;

  2. record the condition of the package;

  3. record the shipping label;

  4. record the opening of the package; and

  5. retain the packaging until the matter has been resolved.

Where a product is allegedly damaged, GR Traditionals may require:

  • photographs;

  • an unboxing video;

  • photographs of the outer packaging;

  • photographs of the shipping label;

  • photographs of the product;

  • photographs showing the alleged damage;

  • videos demonstrating the alleged issue;

  • order details;

  • delivery details; and

  • any other reasonably relevant evidence.

An unboxing video is strongly recommended because it can materially assist in determining whether damage occurred before, during or after delivery.

However, absence of an unboxing video will not by itself determine the legal validity of a claim; GR Traditionals may evaluate the available evidence and circumstances of each case.

9. DELIVERY DAMAGE AND COURIER INVESTIGATION

Where damage appears to have occurred during transportation, GR Traditionals may first initiate an investigation or claim with the applicable logistics provider.

The customer agrees to reasonably cooperate with such investigation and provide information or evidence reasonably required for the purpose.

The investigation may involve:

  • shipment records;

  • tracking information;

  • delivery records;

  • package photographs;

  • warehouse dispatch records;

  • courier records;

  • delivery-agent information;

  • customer-provided evidence; and

  • other relevant information.

GR Traditionals may withhold a final determination until reasonably necessary information has been received from the relevant logistics provider or other parties.

Where a remedy is legally required, GR Traditionals will provide the remedy required under applicable law.

10. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

A genuine manufacturing or material defect may be considered for an appropriate remedy where required under applicable law.

A defect claim must be genuine and capable of reasonable verification.

The following will generally not be treated as manufacturing defects:

  • normal wear and tear;

  • damage caused after delivery;

  • improper use;

  • improper washing;

  • improper ironing;

  • improper storage;

  • alterations;

  • tailoring;

  • stitching performed after delivery;

  • exposure to unsuitable chemicals;

  • perfume or cosmetic damage;

  • stains;

  • accidental damage;

  • physical damage caused by the customer;

  • fading caused by improper care;

  • shrinkage caused by improper washing;

  • damage caused by misuse; or

  • other damage attributable to circumstances occurring after delivery.

11. USED, ALTERED OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS

Products that have been used, worn, washed, altered, tailored, repaired, modified, stained, damaged or otherwise handled in a manner inconsistent with their original condition may not be eligible for a return or refund, subject to applicable law.

For this purpose, evidence may include:

  • visible wear;

  • stains;

  • makeup marks;

  • perfume/deodorant smell;

  • food stains;

  • pet hair;

  • washing;

  • ironing damage;

  • alterations;

  • missing tags;

  • missing accessories;

  • missing packaging; or

  • other evidence of post-delivery handling.

12. HYGIENE AND CONDITION OF PRODUCTS

Products must be maintained in the condition in which they were delivered.

Where a product is legally eligible for return, GR Traditionals may reasonably assess whether its condition permits return or resale, subject to applicable law.

Customers should therefore avoid:

  • wearing products;

  • washing products;

  • altering products;

  • removing labels or tags;

  • applying perfumes or cosmetics;

  • damaging packaging; or

  • otherwise modifying the product

before contacting GR Traditionals concerning a potential issue.

13. CUSTOMISED OR ALTERED PRODUCTS

Where products are customised, altered, tailored, modified or otherwise prepared according to customer-specific instructions, GR Traditionals generally does not accept cancellation, return, exchange or refund requests based merely on change of mind or preference.

This does not affect any remedy that cannot legally be excluded in respect of defective, deficient or materially misrepresented goods.

14. SALE, DISCOUNTED AND PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS

Products purchased during:

  • sales;

  • promotional campaigns;

  • clearance events;

  • special offers;

  • discount campaigns;

  • coupon campaigns; or

  • other promotional events

are subject to the same strict return/refund framework unless the relevant promotion expressly states otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

15. FREE GIFTS AND PROMOTIONAL ITEMS

Where an order includes a free gift, complimentary product, promotional item or other benefit, the customer may be required to return such item where a return or refund is approved and the law permits such a condition.

The value of promotional benefits may be taken into account when determining an appropriate refund where legally permissible.

16. ORDER CANCELLATION

GR Traditionals follows a strict cancellation policy.

Because orders may be processed for fulfilment shortly after placement, customers should contact GR Traditionals immediately if they believe an order was placed incorrectly.

A cancellation request does not automatically result in cancellation.

Once an order has entered processing, packing, dispatch or shipment, cancellation may not be possible.

Where an order has already been dispatched, the customer should not assume that refusal of delivery automatically creates an entitlement to a refund.

Any resulting refund, if legally applicable, will be determined after consideration of:

  • the order status;

  • payment status;

  • shipment status;

  • applicable law;

  • courier status;

  • applicable costs; and

  • the circumstances of the request.

17. NO CASH ON DELIVERY

GR Traditionals does not offer Cash on Delivery (COD).

Orders are accepted only through the payment methods made available on the Website.

A customer should not transfer money to any individual claiming to represent GR Traditionals unless the payment method is an authorised payment method displayed by GR Traditionals.

18. PAYMENT REVERSALS, DUPLICATE PAYMENTS AND FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS

If a customer believes that:

  • a payment was duplicated;

  • an incorrect amount was charged;

  • a payment failed but money was debited; or

  • an unauthorised transaction occurred,

the customer should contact GR Traditionals promptly with relevant transaction information.

GR Traditionals may coordinate with the applicable payment gateway, bank, payment processor or other relevant service provider to investigate the transaction.

Any refund or reversal will be handled in accordance with the outcome of the investigation and applicable law.

19. REFUND POLICY

There is no general entitlement to a refund.

Refunds will ordinarily not be provided merely because a customer:

  • changes their mind;

  • does not like the product;

  • selected an incorrect size;

  • selected an incorrect variant;

  • selected an incorrect colour;

  • ordered by mistake; or

  • otherwise has a personal preference against the product after purchase.

Where a refund is required under applicable law, or where GR Traditionals approves a refund after investigation, the refund will ordinarily be processed using the original payment method or another legally permissible method.

The exact processing time may depend on:

  • completion of GR Traditionals' investigation;

  • receipt and verification of returned goods, where applicable;

  • payment gateway processing;

  • banking systems; and

  • other circumstances outside GR Traditionals' direct control.

20. RETURN SHIPPING

Because returns are generally not accepted, GR Traditionals does not ordinarily provide return shipping.

Where GR Traditionals authorises a return, the customer must follow the return instructions provided by GR Traditionals.

Unauthorised returns sent to GR Traditionals may be refused, returned to the sender or otherwise handled at GR Traditionals' discretion, subject to applicable law.

21. RETURN INSPECTION

Where a return is authorised, the returned product may be inspected before a final decision is made.

Inspection may include verification of:

  • product identity;

  • SKU;

  • tags;

  • packaging;

  • accessories;

  • condition;

  • damage;

  • signs of use;

  • photographs;

  • dispatch records;

  • serial or identifying information where applicable; and

  • other relevant characteristics.

Approval of a return request does not necessarily constitute final approval of a refund.

22. FRAUDULENT OR ABUSIVE CLAIMS

GR Traditionals reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to investigate claims that appear:

  • fraudulent;

  • fabricated;

  • repetitive;

  • abusive;

  • inconsistent with order records;

  • inconsistent with delivery records;

  • supported by manipulated evidence;

  • connected to deliberate product damage; or

  • otherwise suspicious.

Where legally permissible, GR Traditionals may decline or suspend processing of a claim until reasonable verification has been completed.

Nothing in this provision prevents a customer from exercising a genuine statutory right.

23. DELIVERY DELAYS

Estimated delivery dates are estimates unless expressly represented otherwise as guaranteed dates.

Delivery may be affected by:

  • courier delays;

  • weather;

  • natural disasters;

  • strikes;

  • transportation disruption;

  • governmental restrictions;

  • public emergencies;

  • incorrect addresses;

  • customer unavailability;

  • security restrictions;

  • remote-area logistics;

  • technical issues;

  • operational disruptions; or

  • other circumstances beyond GR Traditionals' reasonable control.

Where applicable law provides a remedy for late delivery, this Policy does not exclude that remedy.

24. INCORRECT ADDRESS OR CUSTOMER INFORMATION

The customer is responsible for providing accurate:

  • name;

  • mobile number;

  • email address;

  • shipping address;

  • PIN code; and

  • other information required for delivery.

GR Traditionals will not be responsible for delivery problems caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Additional delivery costs caused by incorrect information may be borne by the customer where legally permissible.

25. REFUSED OR FAILED DELIVERY

If a customer refuses delivery, fails to accept delivery, repeatedly remains unavailable, or provides an incorrect address resulting in return-to-origin or failed delivery, GR Traditionals may investigate the circumstances before determining whether any refund is due.

Where legally permissible, actual costs incurred as a result of such circumstances may be taken into account.

26. HOW TO REPORT A POTENTIAL ISSUE

Any customer who believes that they have received a product affected by a genuine issue should contact:

Phone/WhatsApp: 9310630050
Customer Support Hours: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM

  • registered email address;

  • description of the issue;

  • photographs;

  • videos where available;

  • photographs/video of packaging where relevant; and

  • any other information reasonably requested.

Submission of a complaint does not constitute acceptance of liability by GR Traditionals.

27. INVESTIGATION AND VERIFICATION

GR Traditionals reserves the right to reasonably investigate any claim before determining whether any remedy is available.

Investigation may include verification of:

  • order information;

  • payment records;

  • warehouse records;

  • dispatch records;

  • product images;

  • packing records;

  • courier records;

  • tracking records;

  • customer-submitted evidence;

  • previous communications;

  • product condition; and

  • other relevant information.

A final decision will be communicated after reasonable review of the available information.

28. NO IMPLIED WARRANTY

Except to the extent expressly provided in writing or required under applicable law, GR Traditionals does not provide any additional express or implied warranty beyond rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in this Policy excludes statutory consumer rights, warranties or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

29. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GR Traditionals shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or purely economic losses arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Nothing in this Policy shall:

  • exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded;

  • restrict a statutory consumer remedy;

  • exclude liability for fraud where such exclusion is prohibited;

  • exclude liability for wilful misconduct where such exclusion is prohibited; or

  • otherwise override mandatory provisions of applicable law.

30. FORCE MAJEURE

GR Traditionals shall not be responsible for delay or inability to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • natural disasters;

  • floods;

  • earthquakes;

  • fires;

  • pandemics;

  • epidemics;

  • war;

  • terrorism;

  • civil disturbances;

  • strikes;

  • government restrictions;

  • transportation disruptions;

  • courier disruptions;

  • internet or telecommunications failures;

  • payment-system failures;

  • cyber incidents;

  • supply-chain disruptions; or

  • other comparable circumstances.

This provision does not remove any remedy that applicable law expressly provides to consumers.

31. GOVERNING LAW

This Policy shall be governed by the laws applicable in India.

Nothing in this Policy prevents a consumer from approaching a competent consumer authority, consumer commission, court or other forum having jurisdiction under applicable law.
